We work hard to make You Make Crossfit the most inviting and friendliest gym in Chandler you could ever join. The exact opposite still happens, the gym feeling more like a stage for performing in front of a crowd. The feeling of intimidation is normal. We own creating the most welcoming atmosphere. Our group is beyond supportive and cheering before you walk in the door. No one is left behind. I’ll share a Scott story.
On this day Scott was feeling less than 100 percent after taking some days off. The workout was even more challenging for him. Scott still made everyone laugh. If I remember right, a few people told Scott’s jokes for him. He was having a rough go of it. All kidding aside, Scott’s perseverance energized everyone. Oscar, unprompted, got up and ran the last lap with Scott to give that extra push, even though Oscar had already finished his laps. I’m thankful I was able to capture a piece of the moment. We are done with the workout when everyone has finished. I’m more grateful that this is normal for our tribe and that anyone that wants to join can have the same experience.
It’s normal to be intimidated by a gym and weight loss goals. A title like Personal trainer can make it sound worse. I want to encourage you to get to know You Make Crossfit more, reading this blog is a good start. When you’re ready, book a No Sweat Intro. You’ll be glad you did
